Coachella
2007 – Present
The world-famous Coachella Music and Arts Festival is unlike any other. Epic scenics, interactive art, and curated lineups combine to create a unique visionary experience. Since 2007 we have been helping to share that feeling with an ever-growing global audience. Every year we have expanded and enhanced our scope at Coachella, pioneering continued advances in cinematic festival video production.
LOLLAPALOOZA
2005 – Present
When this iconic 90’s traveling Fest was rebooted as a destination City Festival in Chicago in 2005, Springboard was there, creating one of the very first Festival webcasts. And we have been there ever since. As Lollapalooza has grown from a two-day event on one field to a four-day festival across miles of downtown Chicago, so has our scope. Contributing to the Lolla’s success is the perfect location in the heart of the city, nestled between Lake Michigan and the architecturally-renowned Chicago skyline.
DESERT TRIP
2016
For many, Desert Trip was a dream come true, and the greatest concert event of all time. When we first heard about promoter Goldenvoice’s plans to produce this unprecedented event, we were determined to be involved. This once-in-a-lifetime lineup featured Bob Dylan, The Who, Neil Young, Paul McCartney, Roger Waters, and the Rolling Stones — all sharing a single stage. We were there to capture it all for posterity with 16 Cameras in full 4K resolution.
AUSTIN CITY LIMITS
2005 – Present
In the city that claims the title of “Live Music Capital of the World” the long-running ACL Festival always entertains with eclectic lineups that mix current rock and hip-hop with top tier legacy acts and crossover country. It’s a true music-lovers festival and it’s been our pleasure to be the video and webcast production partner since 2005. Especially since the Festival expanded to two weekends which affords us even more time in this amazing town.

PITCHFORK
2016 – Present
This small scale festival has immense cultural influence, mixing major artists of today with emerging bands of tomorrow. With taste-making lineups, a great location, and comfortable crowd size, Pitchfork is a true pleasure. For several years we’ve provided on-site encoding and streaming support, and in 2019 we expanded that scope to include complete video production.

Bonnaroo is the quintessential deep-festival experience, with the most passionate fans in music. Bonnaroo is a complete camping show. There is no possible way to casually attend Bonnaroo, and the commitment required creates a highly positive vibe. We spent many years webcasting from Bonnaroo, and began our festival career producing pioneering live audio streams at the infancy of Bonnaroo back in 2003.

For anyone impressed by the enthusiasm and revelry of audiences at pop and rock festivals, you’ve got to see Stagecoach. One week after Coachella, the promoters transform the polo grounds into the premier country music destination in the US, and the fans go “full country.” It’s been a thrill to be involved since the beginning in 2007. And every year we lovingly anticipate the greatest singers and pickers in Country Music.
Camp Flog Gnaw was one of our favorite events of 2018. Curated and headlined by the immensely creative Tyler the Creator, complete with carnival rides and covetable merch, this show captured the spirit and style of cool Los Angeles. Our webcast featured Kanye West and Kid Cudi’s Kids See Ghosts, Billie Eilish, Ms. Lauren Hill, Post Malone, and many more.

Firefly falls each year near the start of summer, in Dover, Delaware, on the Woodlands next to the Dover International Speedway. The venue and town are easy to access, but once there fans enter a seemingly remote woodland oasis, with eclectic lineups, immersive art environments, and camping options for the outdoor inclined.
At New York City’s premier music festival, everything clicked when we webcast Governors Ball. A memorable lineup including hometown heros the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Jack White, and more — plus broadcast cinema production, epic specialty camera angles, and verite style behind-the-scenes interviews by Danny Clinch.
We’ve filmed a lot of festivals over the past 14 years, but we’ve never seen fans as passionate and participatory as the crowds at Rock on the Range. High energy rockers playing heart pumping music to a devoted and animated audience made this fest feel truly unique and memorable.

Aside from his career as DJ and producer, Diplo heads dance label Mad Decent and hosts one of the best small fests we’ve ever been to. We streamed this event live from Los Angeles in 2015, airing on Red Bull TV with artists including Major Lazer, T-Pain, and Cut Copy. For pure party atmosphere and positive energy, this fest was a must-see.
This once-in-a-lifetime festival in 2015 set multiple stages of music around the National Mall in Washington D.C. surrounded by the Lincoln Memorial, the Dr. Martin Luther King Memorial and the Potomac River. Fans found themselves in a unique setting, celebrating amidst the iconic monuments of American history.
Since 2010, Springboard has been producing the backstage webcast for the Latin Grammy Awards, for the Latin Academy and Univision. Each year we interact with every major Latin Artist behind the scenes of this highly watched award show. We have greatly expanded our scope since our first red carpet show in 2010, now providing viewers with hours of content across multiple locations around this event.
Although we’re best known for festivals, we’ve had many experiences filming individual artists, most recently with Maren Morris at the Riviera Theater in Chicago. We caught her on the opening of her world tour and aired the event live on Amazon. It was a powerful performance, beautifully lit and staged. We captured the magic with cinema style broadcast cameras. The show is scheduled for release later this year on Amazon Prime Video.
It’s always exciting to work with a major artist at a peak creative moment, especially when we have the opportunity to experiment with new video formats. Springboard produced an intimate concert with Ariana Grande that aired exclusively on her IGTV page. This show was an early example of such professional content being created for this platform, and our first experience in delivering vertically oriented video.
At this unique event, The Roots performed “A Night Of Symphonic Hip Hop” alongside the Dallas POPS Orchestra with special guests including Chaka Kahn, Erykah Badu, Robert Glasper, and more. We filmed the show in 4K and aired it live on Amazon, utilizing multiple specialty cameras.
